Steve Persad is no stranger to building businesses and improving assets. After 3 years in the insurance industry, Steve switched gears and moved into investments where he spent 30 years managing finances for individuals, corporations, institutions and foundations. He worked on bringing private companies public and acted as a sales advisor when businesses were sold. Steve has experience in advertising, merchant services and business management; he excels in sales strategies.
Steve previously taught investment classes at Portland State University, as well as Junior Achievement business classes at Benson Tech High School, also in Portland. He serves as a volunteer with his local church and area shelters; and has sat on the boards of various non-profit organizations.
Steve holds a private pilot's license and as a self-taught golfer, has a 4 Handicap. He enjoys coaching youth basketball and soccer, as he played both sports during his time at Lewis and Clark College. Steve and Amy, his wife of 30 years, have 3 children and a rescue dog.
